I made many new friends who share the joy of quilting with me in Turkey and in other countries.  I have never met a quilter I didn’t like. Quilting is the color of my life; I recommend quilting to all.
There are big ships, there are small ships, 
but there are no ships, like friendships

Being a doll maker, the first thing that came to me for this project was female figures. I wanted them to add dimension as well as texture to the quilt. A globe represents the world.

This quilt is a pictorial of Victorian ladies at their tea parties all dressed up in their finest. Each section of the quilt hides a fine lady among the tea cups representing the varying seasons with the change of color

This quilt was a real challenge, use a friendship slogan, fabric plus size restrictions, use charms...  It was difficult.  The background, table cloth, teapot and cups were the same multi-color fabric.  I used pastels to add subtle changes in in color.

I was influenced by a flower garden, I do belong to a garden club but with so much shade it’s hard for me to grow many flowers that the deer do not eat so I make them in fabric.
